Brendan Canavan founded SwordTree International in the summer of 2002 to better serve the business community.

After graduating from Boston College in 1980, Mr. Canavan held the following positions:

  • Group Life & Health Underwriter
    Prudential Insurance Company; 1980 - 1983

  • Group Pension Consultant
    MassMutual Life; 1983 - 1990

  • Executive Compensation Consultant
    New England Life; 1990 - 1995

  • Financial Advisor
    Wheat First Butcher Singer / First Union - Wachovia Securities; 1995 - 2002
